Adelsberg & Co. was established in 1957 by Samuel Adelsberg to provide top-notch financial advice to emerging businesses at an affordable cost. Adelsberg envisioned a firm centered around personalized service, offering unique value-added expertise that larger firms cannot match.

Steven Adelsberg, CPA
Graduating with a degree in Accounting from New York University in 1975, Steven immediately stepped into the accounting industry, marking the beginning of a remarkable career path.
His career began at Hurdman & Cranston, an esteemed firm that would later become known as KPMG Peat Marwick. There, Steven honed his skills and leadership abilities at a supervisory level from 1975 to 1978. In 1978, Steven made a pivotal move to S. Adelsberg & Co., where he has since been a cornerstone of the firm, serving as a Partner for over four decades. His tenure at S. Adelsberg & Co. has been marked by dedication, forward-thinking, and a commitment to excellence, significantly contributing to the firm's growth and reputation in the accounting industry.Steven is deeply involved in the professional accounting community, holding memberships in prestigious organizations such as the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of CPAs. He also plays an active role in the Small Business Tax Committee of the New York State Society and has participated in the National Conference of CPA Practitioners, showcasing his commitment to the profession and his expertise in various aspects of accounting and taxation.

Irwin Adelsberg, CPA
Throughout his career at S. Adelsberg & Co., Irwin has amassed significant expertise in finance and tax, specializing in various sectors including real estate, wholesale businesses, medical and dental practices, family businesses, wealth management, and financial planning.
Irwin graduated from New York University in 1979, earning a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. His professional journey commenced in the audit department of Touche Ross and Company, where he served from 1979 until 1981. Following this, Irwin embarked on a longstanding tenure with S. Adelsberg & Co., a move that marked the beginning of over four decades of dedication to the firm’s commitment to delivering exceptional, personalized client services. Jeremy Kirschner, CPA, CGMA
Jeremy has been a part of Samuel S. Adelsberg & Co. for over 15 years, leveraging his extensive experience in auditing and preparing tax returns for companies of all sizes across diverse industries.
Jeremy graduated from Yeshiva University's Sy Syms School of Business in 2000, earning a B.S. in Accounting. He spent over three years at Ernst & Young, LLP, specifically in the Kenneth Leventhal Real Estate Group, where he audited REITs, real estate partnerships, and engaged in various transaction-based services. He has developed a particular expertise in the fields of both commercial and residential real estate, as well as jewelry manufacturing, among others. His non-auditing experience includes accounting for real estate acquisitions and dispositions, preparing international and consolidated financial statements, and addressing complex accounting issues and transactions for a wide range of clients. Additionally, Jeremy has prepared tax returns and personal financial statements for individuals.Memberships include the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
